CEO & Founder

Louise M. Morman, the Founder and CEO of Insight Power LLC is an accomplished executive coach, consultant, business executive, and instructor. She is also the founding Executive Director of the Lilly Leadership Institute (formerly the Lockheed Martin Leadership Institute) in the College of Engineering and Computing at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

As an experienced management consultant and executive coach, Ms. Morman has worked with a diverse group of clients, including CEOs, deans, tech professionals, and students. She created the Leadership Institute at Miami University to cultivate leaders who can excel in their professions and lives by developing strategic thinking skills, collaborating effectively with others, communicating ideas clearly, and finding innovative solutions to society's most complex problems. 

The Leadership Institute offers an intensive multi-year leadership development program, including six core courses on Personal Leadership, People Leadership, and Strategic Leadership, as well as workshops, speeches, and increased exposure to seasoned leaders in various fields. Since its inception in 2011, Ms. Morman has secured over $2.5 million dollars in financial support, recruited 11 cohorts, taught over 60 classes, and impacted over 250 students.

Prior to her work in executive coaching and leadership development, Ms. Morman had a long and successful career as a senior management executive for three major energy companies. As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Economic Development, and Supply Planning for the New York Power Authority, she was the chief marketing/customer officer for the multi-billion dollar entity. She worked for Delmarva Power in Wilmington, Delaware holding the titles of Treasurer, General Manager of Strategic Energy Markets, and General Manager of Marketing. She held positions in information systems, corporate planning, and marketing management at Dayton Power and Light. In addition, she was Senior Manager, Management Consulting Services at Price Waterhouse in the areas of financial strategy, cost accounting, profitability analysis, information systems, and business planning. 

Majoring in Systems Analysis, Ms. Morman earned a B.S. in Applied Science from Miami University, an M.B.A. from Wright State University, and an M.A. in Leadership and Transformational Learning from New York University's Gallatin School. She has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and received certification from the Hudson Institute of Coaching in Santa Barbara. 

In addition to her impressive professional accomplishments, Ms. Morman was actively involved in various university-wide efforts and committees, including the Miami University Alumni Association Board, Women's Giving Circle, and the Provost's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force. She also serves on the Women's Advisory Committee and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee in the College of Engineering and Computing, and is a board member of the Big Apple Greeter organization in New York City.
